The Mountain Turtle Dove (Streptompelia Orientalis) is a member of the genus streptomyces, a family of doves that includes six subspecies. Body length about 32 cm, straight or slightly curved jaws, soft mouth base, with wax film, Mouth End Expansion and with Horn; neck and feet are short, shin by feathers. Dark scallop-striped upper body with Brown rim, Gray Waist, nearly black tail and light gray tip. . Much lower body. Pink, red feet. Take-off with a high-frequency "boop-boop" sound. Most of the food is grain.
